Duties
:
Plan, implement and coordinate therapeutic recreation programs for the Schizophrenia program under the direction of the Manager, Patient Care Services. Develop goals, objectives, policies and procedures for recreation and leisure services based on client needs and best practices.Create individualized recreation plans, conduct assessments, and prepare required reports in compliance with ROHCG policies and TRO standards.Facilitate client participation in recreation, leisure and educational activities.Organize outings and community based activities, research suitable opportunities for clients with severe mental illness.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, families and community agencies to coordinate services.
