Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector is responsible for visual and measured inspection of parts to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all quality requirements. The QI will inspect incoming materials or parts throughout the manufacturing process, verify specified dimensions and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Review materials and supplies at receiving using product specifications and requirements to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Responsible for performing in-process and related reporting.
• Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, and work practices for conformance to specifications utilizing materials such as drawings, standard operating procedures.
