Job Description

Summary

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector will be responsible for Inspection of materials and assemblies in accordance with PPI and Customer quality standards. Day to day duties will consist of conducting inspections to ensure components, hardware and subassemblies are meeting quality standards.

As Quality Inspector, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducts inspection to ensure components, hardware and subassemblies are meeting quality standards.

  • Responds to queries on the quality of parts

  • Makes decisions based on documented accept/reject criteria.

  • Generates detailed nonconformance reports (NCRs) for rejected items

  • Actively manage backlog of rejected items to achieve targeted cycle time

  • Supports Quality Assurance or Customer Inspectors during Source and FAI Inspections
