Job Description
Elevate surgical standards as a dedicated NSQIP Champion. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance surgical quality and support safety initiatives aimed at reducing perioperative risks.
This key role involves working with physicians, staff, and leadership to implement evidence-based strategies. You'll commit roughly six hours a month, focusing on quality improvement opportunities and attending essential NSQIP events. Your impact will directly support the reduction of adverse surgical outcomes at your site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with Surgical Clinical Reviewer on quality issues
• Review NSQIP data and collaborate on improvement strategies
• Initiate at least one quality improvement project annually
• Attend NSQIP summits and collaborative gatherings
• Communicate updates on NSQIP advocacy efforts
