Quality Engineer

Responsibilities: Ensure that products shipped to customers meet all established specifications and requirements. Design, define, and improve inspection methods, testing procedures, and acceptance/rejection criteria. Develop and review quality assurance plans, sampling plans, and process control procedures. Generate and manage AQP/PPAP documentation for new product approvals or engineering changes. Coordinate and respond to customer complaints using methodologies such as 8D. Conduct internal, process, and supplier audits, defining and implementing corrective actions. Ensure compliance with internal and external calibration requirements for measuring equipment. Act as a liaison between departments to guarantee product quality throughout the production chain. Analyze rejects, non-conformities, and red-tag issues, generating improvement plans.
