Quality Engineer, Airworthiness Compliance (Hamilton)

Overview

Quality Engineer, Airworthiness Compliance – Fort Erie, ON. Ensure compliance with Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) CAR 571 and 573 regulations for aircraft airworthiness, RTS after maintenance, repair or alterations. Act as quality interface between internal and external customers for nonconformance resolutions and customer aircraft delivery activities.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Certified Repair Station (CRS) or Transport Canada Civil Aviation Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) for U.S. aeronautical products under the Canada–U.S. bilateral agreement for approval of aircraft, airframe, engines, propellers/rotors, appliances or component parts for return to service (RTS) after inspection, maintenance, preventive maintenance, rebuilding or alterations, with entries in maintenance records acceptable to the TCCA administrator and Airbus RTS procedures.
