Function Pharmacy Facility Position Qualified Post-Basic Locum Pharmacist Assistant Introduction

A vacancy exists for a Qualified, Post-Basic Locum Pharmacist Assistant based at Life Fourways Hospital, reporting to Pamella Mazibuko, Senior Pharmacist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the quality pharmaceutical services, financial objectives, legislative compliance and people management requirements are achieved to the required standards.

Critical Outputs

Supplying of medication to the wards and theatre on requisitions and assist with management of all pharmaceuticals within the hospital under supervision of a pharmacist

Controlling inventory (ethical and surgical). 

Assisting in aggressively managing dead stock in the hospital.

Stock-take, cycle counts and investigation of variances

Processing of patient credits.
