**Company Description**The position holder is responsible for managing purchasing transactions with external and internal suppliers to support the efficient procurement of direct materials or sub-contract services.This position requires strong attention to detail and rigor to ensure effective management of direct material requirements.Senior Purchasing Specialists operate as part of the Procurement Team.Responsible for ensuring transactional efficiency of goods and subcontract services for the business in a defined scope of support from internal and external suppliers, in line with Smiths Group PLC Code of Conduct and John Crane P2P policy, ensuring that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships.
