The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for procuring equipment and services requested by internal customers within the Properties and Studio Development department. This role involves preparing, verifying and monitoring purchase requests, selecting the most effective sourcing methods (approved or new suppliers, tenders or RFPs, cost comparison) and developing appropriate purchasing strategies whilst understanding and executing purchase priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with prospective suppliers, negotiating purchasing terms, monitoring delivery schedules and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Coordinate the collection and assessment of requirements when preparing tenders.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to tenders, vendors and fiscal obligations.
- Support contract negotiation and preparation processes.
