Summary
The Fleet Parts Sourcing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for parts, components, and third-party services supporting heavy refuse trucks, truck bodies, yellow iron and waste processing facilities across a multi-region network (Ontario & Atlantic Canada, 1700+ units). This role focuses on strategic procurement and is accountable for delivering best value through supplier strategy, lifecycle cost optimization, and innovative sourcing approaches. Working in close partnership with Fleet Maintenance team, Equipment leadership, the Manager, Sourcing and Contract, and Inventory Compliance, the role ensures consistent supplier performance, program adoption, and alignment between national sourcing strategies and local operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage sourcing and category ownership for OEM and aftermarket parts, hydraulic components, cylinder rebuild programs, and specialized repair services.
