Join a collaborative mental health team of social workers, therapists and outreach nurses as well as community general practitioners committed to developing innovative approaches to meet needs for psychiatric services across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent consultative support to the Kootenay Lake Hospital (KLH) medical/surgical units and emergency department in collaboration with local family practitioners.
• Participate in regional call services to Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail (for interested candidates).
• Possibly engage in locum opportunities during the recruitment period.
• Engage in the Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Emerging Physician Leaders Program for leadership development.
