Fantastic opportunity for a general adult Psychiatrist to join the expanding Psychiatry department at Kelowna General Hospital. Our group of Psychiatrists provides service to KGH’s 30 bed inpatient unit, 6 bed Adult MH Intensive Care Unit, consults to the medical/surgical units and the emergency department, as well as maintain a community based practice. Duties will include, but not be limited to, patient assessment and treatment, collaboration with clinicians and managers, and assistance with the development and maintenance of appropriate programs, policies, and procedures. This collaborative team treats the serious and persistent mental illness population with intensive case management support.
