Property Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Property Accountant to manage the full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial properties. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role involves financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end activities, and collaboration with property management teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations
• Manage intercompany transactions and balances
• Prepare bank reconciliations and financial statements for assigned properties
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc projects
• Work closely with the Controller and CFO on various financial initiatives

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience
• CPA designation considered an asset
