Job Description
Production Scheduler Responsibilities
- Create and maintain weekly and daily production schedules (MPS output) that minimize inventory investment, maximize productivity, and improve customer service levels.
- Track schedule attainment to achieve customer delivery targets and inventory metrics.
- Implement processes that enhance operating efficiencies and reduce costs within the plant and supporting supply chains.
- Maintain replenishment signals within the ERP system for manufactured items to ensure smooth material flow.
- Coordinate with supplier scheduling, manufacturing, quality, and engineering to guarantee timely material availability for customer demands.
- Manage daily production support: expedite materials, set priorities, and resolve supply issues.
- Coordinate scheduling and inventory movement of all outside processing inventory locations.
