Production Supervisor

Position function:

Reporting to the Production Manager, the individual will be responsible to supervise one of the Production areas of Caldic’s Mississauga facility.

Scope:

The Production Supervisor will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of their designated production area. They will collaborate with the P&C, HSE, and Quality teams to ensure the production area is meeting the expectations of our customers and all internal stakeholders in a safe and high quality manner.

Major tasks and duties:

• Work with P&C to maintain adequate staffing levels in support of the business and budget.
• Reconcile Time & Attendance for the production team (and temporary employees). Manage vacation requests.
• Ensure compliance with all Quality and Safety programs. Communicate feedback from the production teams.
• Work with the Maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.
