Job Description
As a Produce Clerk with the Tofino Co-op, you are responsible for the proper stocking and rotation of merchandise in the produce department. At the Co-op, it is our priority to provide only the freshest and highest quality products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspect all merchandise and communicate with the Produce Operator when excessive spoilage, shrinkage and shortages in inventory are evidentPrepare, assemble and display all produce department related inventoriesEnsure all specified overnight care and department handling procedures are adhered toWhen assigned to maintain adequate inventory levels and stock control proceduresWhen assigned, to be responsible for the receiving, inspecting and storage of merchandiseAdhere to association policies and procedures relating to the maintenance, sanitation and safety of all association assetsDisplay an interest and willingness to learn through training or on-the-jo...
