Procurement Lead - Tooling

Overview Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Lead is responsible for the supervision of procurement of goods and services for various projects and business units. They are responsible for leading or supervising a team of Buyers and Order Administrators in day to day procurement activities.

Responsibilities

Lead Procurement Activities for a Project.

Review purchasing documents.

Supervise and Mentor Buyers/Order Administrators.

Key Interface with Project Management.

Lead Supplier negotiations and Kick-off Meetings for procurement.

Create and Issue Procurement packages as required.

Interface with the Client for Review and Approval of Procurement packages.

Ensure procurement data integrity and project status updates at all times.

Oversee completion of non-conformances.

Periodic supplier/ shop oversight visits.

Resolve supply chain issues as they arise.
