Principal CAD - Piping
Job Description
We are seeking to recruit a Piping Designer to join our CRC engineering department and specifically our industry discipline helping to contribute towards its continuing success.
+ Assist engineers in their design tasks of plans and specifications using CAD/DAO, 3D and 2D development tools, for heavy industrial, petrochemical and manufacturing projects.
+ Preparation of various drawing types.
+ Isometric preparation (Isogen) and clean-up.
+ Prepare list of equipment, piping and pipes, with the help of specialized software and Excel.
+ Estimate and calculate volumes of material required for projects.
+ Perform various simulations using specialized software (e. g. 2D or 3D modelling).
+ If required, assist team technicians in projects.
+ Attend follow-up meetings with the design team (SKYPE).
+ Perform any other related tasks that can help with project implementation.
+ Mechanical engineering degree or another equivalent certification.
