Practical Nurse

As a clinic nurse with TELUS Health Care Centre, you will play a key role in ensuring the occupational health needs of our clients are met through pre‑employment and surveillance testing.

Duties & responsibilities

• Direct patient care activities.
• Conduct screening tests, including venipuncture collection, electrocardiography, pulmonary function, and audiometric testing.
• Document all testing completed.
• Maintain awareness of functions exclusively within the provincially legislated regulations for your licensing body.
• Participate in continuing education and professional growth activities.
• Active role in procurement of necessary medical equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Successful completion and graduation from a Nursing program including venipuncture/phlebotomy.
