Overview

As a Powertrain Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly of large Caterpillar powertrain components. You will leverage your mechanical experience in combination with your safety focus to produce quality products in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components in the powertrain category in accordance with OEM specifications, standard hours and quality metrics.
• Work with minimal supervision to meet production targets.
• Operate basic service tools and critical analog measuring devices including dial bore gauges and micrometers.
• Follow proper torquing procedures and maintain strong organizational skills to follow work instructions.

Qualifications

• HET Journeyperson ticket or interprovincial RedSeal required.
