Postdoctoral Research Fellow / Tutkijatohtori (Small Autonomous Ground Vehicle, 1–3 positions)
Job Description
Job Description
Postdoctoral research fellows will be supervised by principal investigators from the Units of Signal Processing and Automation Technology and Mechanical Engineering. The research covers computer vision, machine learning, robotics, and control, addressing a wide range of problems in artificial intelligence and autonomous systems. During this project we develop new technology for small autonomous ground vehicles that can operate in rough terrains such as Finnish winter forests and harsh weather conditions. The main objective is to develop vehicles that can move autonomously in such environments, and the project includes all parts of robot design.
