Postdoctoral Fellow

The VAW Research Team, led by Dr. Alexa Yakubovich, is seeking highly motivated candidates for a Postdoctoral Fellowship within the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology at Dalhousie University (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada). The successful candidate will work on action-oriented, intervention research focused on strengthening systems responses to violence against women and gender diverse people. The team works with community, practice, and policy partners on studies that use qualitative, quantitative, mixed, and knowledge synthesis methods to understand burdens of violence and evaluate intervention and policy responses. The postdoctoral fellowship will be situated within a federally (CIHR) funded project focused on designing, implementing, and evaluating intervention strategies to strengthen health systems responses to domestic and sexualized violence in Canada, with a particular focus on the province of Nova Scotia.
