Description
The Equity Portfolio Construction & Risk team is part of the wider equity investment team at FIL. The main areas of focus include leading the Investment Risk Management Process across all equity portfolios and supporting Equity Portfolio Managers to build more efficient portfolios. In particular the team act as the ‘eyes and ears’ of the Equity Chief Investment Officer and Heads of Equities to help facilitate better Client Outcomes and takes a leading role in Quarterly Fund Reviews (QFRs) and Investment Risk Committees (IRCs).
Purpose of the Role
Support the growing responsibilities of the Equity Portfolio Construction & Risk team to ensure full coverage of an increasing number of distinct equity strategies. In a continually evolving industry landscape it is important that the team has the right mix of skills and experience to navigate changing client expectations and market dynamics that offer opportunity as well as challenge.
