Position Summary
Reporting to the HSE Manager, the Health & Safety Specialist works to support the overall HSE management system in an effort to minimize safety risks and promote a proactive and positive safety culture.
Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Conducts regular inspections and audits Assists in determining corrective and preventative actions, and manages/tracks the completion of effective implementations thereafter Assists with the development and maintenance of the HSE Management System including written processes, policies and procedures Assists in the development and review of risk assessments, safe work practices and safety procedures Takes a lead with safety incident reporting and investigation to ensure completion of documentation, investigation and recommendation and implementation of effective corrective actions Delivers safety communications...
