Job Description
Position Summary
Plant Operator responsible for supporting daily asphalt plant production activities in a safe and efficient manner. Duties include milling asphalt and emulsion products, loading and offloading trucks and rail cars, product transfers, plant monitoring, site housekeeping, and general facility operations. The operator works closely with plant personnel to meet production demands, maintain operational reliability, and promote a safe and team‑oriented work environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive training on a variety of equipment; prior experience with mobile equipment is an asset but not required.
- Perform routine monitoring of plant equipment, security checks (gates, doors, equipment), bulk liquid terminal operations, and associated above‑ground equipment.
- Assist the team with general support tasks as needed.
