Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop suppliers and execute savings projects.
- Ensure each purchased item has an adequate supplier and support expediting processes.
- Place purchase orders for indirect material or services and provide support to plant areas such as Manufacturing, Maintenance, Logistics, Engineering, and Quality.
- Monitor vendor performance and coordinate with Purchasing for corrective actions to improve vendor development.
- Resolve problems related to delivery, pricing, and invoicing promptly to avoid material shortages.
- Implement material‑related projects and resolve discrepancy problems.
- Comply with the JCI Safety Commitment Letter and participate in safety subcommittees, safety audits, risk assessments, and the EHS program.
- Support the plant training program, provide staff training, and define corrective and preventive actions.
