Job Description
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Electrician is responsible for providing electrical maintenance to Tiverton Ontario site. The successful candidate must exhibit strong problem solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Lay out, assemble, install, repair, connect or test electrical fixtures, apparatuses, control equipment and wiring systems of alarm, communication, light, heat or power in buildings and equipment. Example of daily tasks include:
Preventative maintenance of high voltage lamps
Troubleshoot and repair electrical motors, pumps and HVAC power supplies
Lay out and install electrical appliances such as plugs, switches, and lights
Input and update information in computerized maintenance management software
Resolve maintenance issues or complaints
Ensure cleanliness of facility at all times
