Plant Finance Controller
Job Description
Lead end-to-end finance for the Mexico manufacturing plant, serving as the primary finance business partner for the plant management team. Oversee plant financial operations, cost accounting, compliance, and reporting to support operational efficiency, profitability, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
- Own monthly plant close, P&L, balance sheet, and inventory reconciliations; prepare local statutory and management reports.
- Support dual GAAP reporting (U.S. GAAP/IFRS) and timely consolidation into North America books.
- Cost Accounting & Profitability
- Manage standard cost, variance analysis (material/labor/overhead), and inventory valuation.
- Monitor plant KPIs (productivity, scrap, yield, OEE) and drive cost optimization initiatives to improve plant EBIT.
