About Us

North Shore Emergency Management (NSEM), a tri-municipal agency providing emergency management services to the District of North Vancouver, the City of North Vancouver, and the District of West Vancouver, is seeking a Planning Assistant II to join the team. Position Overview This is technical and professional planning work at an entry level that involves planning research and analysis, the creation of plans, graphic presentations, printed material, and technical support for NSEM initiatives. The successful candidate will support the Director and other staff on various projects that will require strong communication and writing skills in the development of guidelines, standard operating procedures and emergency response plans. In this role you will: 

Perform a variety of technical and research tasks related to NSEM planning projects.
