Job Description
Enhance operational efficiency as a Planner with Midland Transport. Collaborate with drivers and customers to optimize fleet performance and meet strategic mileage targets.
This position requires a self-starter who will report to the Night Linehaul Supervisor at the Head Office. The ideal candidate must have robust communication and analytical skills, along with experience in dispatch and planning. You will be responsible for planning, monitoring fleet miles, and directly interfacing with clients to arrange load movements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan routes for owner-operators and company drivers
• Monitor fleet mileage for all units
• Communicate effectively with customers for load arrangements
• Resolve driver issues swiftly and efficiently
