Position Summary
Under the direction of the Planning Supervisor, the Production Planner works closely with Customer Service and a few production cells. He is responsible for the development and implementation of the production plan.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop the short- and medium-term production plan based on production capacity, customer orders and sales forecasts. Share and follow up on the plan with Production Team Leaders
- Ensure a constant link between inventory control, purchasing and logistics in order to meet customer requirements
- Manage Production Orders
- Analyze backlog and production cell capacity to determine human resource requirements
- Set up MRP system data
- Ensure the transition from parts in development to production
