Physician/Clinical Assistant - General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology

Qualifications

• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and surgeons of Manitoba as a Physician Assistant or Clinical Assistant.
• Clinical Assistant: Graduate of an accredited Medical program in Canada or abroad.
• One of the following: Clinical Assistant Assessment or NAC OSCE or LMCC.
• Physician Assistant: Candidate must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Educational Program acceptable to CPSM.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), as well as Internet applications and other Information Technology.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Demonstrated flexibility to facilitate changes in techniques and procedures in a changing environment.
