The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant/Clinical Assistant for a full-time position in Internal Medicine at the Health Sciences Centre.
Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant/Clinical Assistant will perform, order, and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic investigations/interventions. Duties include: performing history and physical exams in a variety of settings such as the Emergency Department, wards, and following patients in the pre/peri/postoperative ward and other clinical settings. The Assistant will attend clinical and educational rounds. Administrative requirements include recording all patient encounters in standard of practice documents, which may involve dictating or utilizing electronic medical records where available.
