Join the team at Foothills Medical Centre as a Physician Assistant focused on Gynecologic Oncology. Provide vital patient care, support, and intra-operative assistance in a collaborative environment.
The Calgary Zone Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is looking for a 1.0 FTE Physician Assistant to support women's health by working with gynecologic cancer patients. This Monday to Friday role involves assessing patients, developing care plans, and assisting in surgeries. Ongoing professional education is a must while you maintain strong relationships with a team of specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient assessments and create care plans
• Liaise with patients for consultations and follow-ups
• Support surgical teams in the Operating Room
• Round on inpatients and provide post-operative care
• Instruct and support medical students and residents
