Position Summary:

This is a skilled subprofessional position involving the responsibility of assisting with the treatment to patients in accordance with the plan of care documented by the physical therapist and within the parameters of the written prescription from a qualified provider. The physical therapy assistant is responsible to the primary Physical Therapist of the particular patient and to the Senior Physical Therapist or to the Director of Physical Therapy for the operation of the department. Supervision will be exercised over the work of a Physical Therapy Aides.
