Physical Therapist

Overview

Under the direction of Physical Therapy Management at Dameron Hospital, the Physical Therapist is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and administering Physical Therapy services in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. This role ensures that the highest quality of care is provided to patients at all times. FTE 1.0 (5x8s) Day. This is a non-union position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations, including comprehensive assessments, individualized and group treatments, and supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants, support staff, and students.
• Contribute to program development, performance improvement initiatives, and departmental policy updates.
• Provide physical therapy services according to a written individualized plan of care.
• Perform assessments of strength, mobility, gait, range of motion (ROM), and transfer capabilities.
