Position Summary

Northern Health Authority is seeking a Physiatrist to provide service at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia, in Prince George, BC. The selected candidate will join an exceptionally compatible and united group of physicians who are encouraged to explore their full practice potential in our University Hospital Medical School setting. The hospital provides tertiary rehabilitation services in both highly developed inpatient and outpatient areas across the spectrum of rehab services including:

• Stroke
• Brain Injury
• Amputee
• Multi-trauma
• Complex Orthopaedics
• Psychiatry
• Medical sub-specialty areas

Well informed interdisciplinary teams are functioning at a high level, and current with developments in:

• Stroke Rehabilitation
• Physiotherapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Speech Language Pathology
• Social Work
