Job Overview

Shift: Casual – Days, Evenings, or Nights.

The PSW/HCA/CCA provides direct personal support and care to patients to fulfill the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of patients in accordance with policies, procedures, and work routines. Assists in providing direct care such as ambulation, feeding, bathing, and grooming.

Qualifications

• Completed a PSW Program or HCA/CCA certification that meets the appropriate standards as required for the position
• Experience in Long Term Care or community home care setting with exposure to dementia and palliative care is preferred
• Knowledge and experience in care planning systems and documentation
• Ability to communicate positively with other staff, residents/patients and families
