Permanent Long‑Term Substitute Teacher
Location: Santa Fe 5th/6th Center
Start Date: 08/07/2026
Qualifications
- Licensed in the State of Kansas (or equivalent qualifications as approved by the board)
Responsibilities
- Report to the building principal or school secretary upon arrival.
- Review plans and schedules with the principal or department head.
- Maintain the established routines and procedures of the assigned school/classroom.
- Teach the lesson outlined in the substitute teacher's guide as prepared by the absent teacher.
- Consult with the principal or department head before initiating any procedures not specified in the guide.
- Follow all policies, rules, and procedures applicable to regular teachers.
- Write a summary of the day's activities for the classroom teacher.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
