Permanent Hospitalist Opportunities

The Department of Hospitalist Medicine is looking to expand its complement of Full-time & Part-time permanent physicians . Our physicians provide coverage to both our Hospitalist and Rehabilitation Units at Brightshores Health System – Owen Sound site.

Hospitalist Service Delivery

Our program is growing and operates on a four‑hospitalist per day model , with each physician managing an average daily census of 15–18 patients . Care is delivered within a collaborative, multidisciplinary model , supported by nursing, Nurse Practitioners, and allied health professionals to optimize patient flow, continuity of care, and clinical decision-making.

The service provides comprehensive coverage for acute inpatient medicine beds and offers consultative and cross‑coverage support to medical patients admitted to other hospital units as needed.
