As part of St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital’s renowned transport team, you will provide critical nursing care during relocations of newborns and children. Your experience in PICU or pediatric emergency settings will be vital for ensuring safe patient transit across West-Central Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle the transport of patients under 18 effectively
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals during relocations
• Monitor vital signs and health during travel
• Inform and reassure families accompanying patients
• Stay updated on required NICU transport competencies
Requirements:
• One year of RN experience in PICU or Pediatric Emergency
• Minimum 500 hours in a NICU setting
• Active PALS certification
