Job Description
Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end payroll for one assigned South American country while setting the standard for governance, compliance, and control across all countries in the region. Ensure accurate, on-time payroll execution and maintain a robust control environment that meets local labor law, tax requirements, and SOX standards. Key Responsibilities Country Payroll Operations – Assigned Country Manage full-cycle payroll: novelties reconciliation, retroactive adjustments, terminations, and year-end close. Validate payroll results, perform variance analysis, and approve payroll runs before submission. Prepare and validate bank payment files, funding requests, and reconcile paid vs. processed amounts. Prepare payroll accounting files with correct cost center and account allocation for month-end close.
