Job Description
Coyote Creek YMCA is hiring a Part-Time School Age Leader in Surrey, BC. Support children ages 5-12 in a welcoming environment, promoting learning and growth through engaging activities.
As a compassionate and collaborative School Age Leader, you'll facilitate before and after school programs for diverse children. Your role includes designing activities, providing individualized support, and ensuring a positive atmosphere. You’ll also help monitor staff ratios while fostering a community of respect and inclusion among children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver age-appropriate YMCA programs
• Lead indoor and outdoor activities promoting learning
• Supervise, guide, and mentor new staff and volunteers
• Build relationships with children, families, and partners
• Maintain safety and compliance with health regulations
Requirements:
• At least 19 years of age
• Experience with children ages 5-12
• Strong planning and leading skills
