About The Opportunity

The District of Lake Country has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Parks and Facilities Operator II based in Lake Country, BC. Reporting to the Chief Operating Engineer, the Parks and Facilities Operator II is responsible for operating, cleaning, and maintaining the municipal arena complex to provide a safe, clean and quality environment for the recreational use and leisure enjoyment of the public. With a specialized certificate, this position mainly works out of the arena however may be utilized in our parks division where required.

Your Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Clean and maintain municipal buildings, grounds, and equipment, including minor construction, renovations and improvements, as directed by the Parks& Facilities Manager;
