Position Requirements
Applicants must be highly qualified by one of the following methods:
- Complete at least two years of study at an institution or higher education (equal to 60 semester hours);
- Obtain an associate's degree (or higher);
- Pass one of the formal assessments: WorkKeys Test (proctored prior to January 2017); Michigan Test for Teacher Certification – Basic Skills (MTTC); or ETS Parapro Assessment (proctored at the Sault Schools Administration Building).
The paraprofessional position is a 9‑month position (school year) with an hourly wage of $18.20 per hour.
