Job Description
SGS is looking for a Certified Welding Inspector (as a sub‑contractor) for a short‑term contract in Chester, NS. The work would start in May and last 4-6 weeks with intermittent frequency of inspection visits during this period.
The scope of work includes ensuring that welding, blasting, coating processes comply with codes, standards, specifications, and project requirements by performing visual inspections.
- Witnessing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at vendors’ facilities for the following systems: PLR SL001 - Anchoring Windlasses, Winches, and Capstans.
