PADI Divemaster & Marine Conservation Apprenticeship
Job Description
Become part of an international team of marine conservationists, contribute towards coral reef preservation and earn your PADI Divemaster, a dive leader qualification that will serve you well in any role that requires professional diving. This apprenticeship includes a work placement at a popular dive centre located on Mexico’s Caribbean coast and specific training in marine conservation.
Your first 12 weeks of trainingThe first portion of this apprenticeship is a marine conservation expedition. Apprentices join GVI staff and other participants from around the world to learn about and contribute to ongoing marine conservation initiatives in the Riviera Maya. Apprentices learn and practise underwater monitoring techniques, species identification, and conduct coral reef surveys.
