Job Overview
Seeking an Outside Plant (OSP) Designer specializing in computer-aided drawings (CAD) for a contract term from May 2026 to December 2026 in Bedford, Nova Scotia.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform drafting in AutoCAD or other drafting software.
- Transpose designs from one system into other database types.
- Peer review finished drawing packages.
- Read and interpret fibre network design drawings and outside plant records (data, maps).
- Collaborate with other divisional teams to overcome project challenges and provide optimal solutions.
- Conduct field survey and data collection (out of province as needed).

- Detailed knowledge of some of the following programs:
- QGIS
- Network Engineer
- NetworkX
- Spatial Net
