Outreach Nurse

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

Person who assumes responsibility for a range of nursing care activities based on the bio‑psycho‑social needs of assigned users or groups of people. She/he assesses users’ state of health, determines and ensures the implementation of nursing care and treatment plans for users with complex health problems and/or various bio‑psycho‑social dimensions. She/he provides nursing and medical care and treatment to maintain health, restore health and prevent disease. She/he can prescribe laboratory analyses, treatments, products, medication and dressings in the fields of wound care, public health and routine care according to the regulations in force.

She/he designs, applies and evaluates care programs requiring advanced knowledge, aimed at complex health problems and/or involving various bio‑psycho‑social dimensions.
