Join the prestigious legal team at Osler as a Corporate Law Clerk focusing on corporate clients’ transaction needs. This full-time position is available fully remote or hybrid from our Toronto or Ottawa offices.
This role is essential to enhancing our service delivery model, where you will support corporate transactions including incorporations, amendments, and redistributions. You will work closely with experienced lawyers to ensure compliance and accuracy in documentation. Your initiative and problem-solving mindset will contribute to our team’s success.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage corporate transactions like amalgamations and dissolutions • Draft and review essential corporate documentation • Update and maintain our legal entity management systems • Provide support in tax reorganizations and financings • Assist with director/officer changes and share transfers
